Each state and county has it's own DWI/DUI education requirements for DWI/DUI offenders.The type of class and number of hours depends upon several factors such as your BAC (blood alcohol content) level upon arrest and number of previous arrests for drinking and driving.

DWI/Alcohol and Drug Awareness Classes


You may be required to enroll in an online class if:

  • you are required to take a course for court or legal requirement 
  • alcohol or other drug use is a concern at the workplace or at home 
  • alcohol or other drug use may be a personal or health concern 
  • you would like to gain more skills in better understanding drug/alcohol use, abuse, dependency and recovery.  

The Online Drug/Alcohol classes offered:

  • 8 Hour (Level 1) 
  • 12 Hour (level 2) 
  • 16 Hour (Level 2) 
  • 20 Hour (Level 2) 
  • 24 Hour (Level 3)

Minor in Possession (MIP & MIC) Classes 


You may be required to enroll in an online class if you are under 21 years of age and:

  • you required to take a course for court or legal requirement due to: 
    • possession of alcohol, or drugs or paraphernalia 
    • under the influence of alcohol or drugs 
  • alcohol or other drug use is a concern at the school or at home 
  • alcohol or other drug use may be a personal or health concern 
  • you would like to gain more skills in better understanding drug/alcohol use, abuse, dependency and recovery.  

The MIP/MIC classes offered:

  • 8 Hour (Level 1) 
  • 12 Hour (level 2) 
  • 16 Hour (Level 2) 
  • 20 Hour (level 2) 
  • 24 Hour (Level 3)
